Tollywood film industry is seeing a new trend now a days. Though current year bought in good luck in terms of hits with even entire world knowing the stamina, controversies surrounding most of the films are making it lose its sheen. While some films are involved in controversies before or after its release, many more films started testing its patience with continuous postponements.
Till date more than 15 films got good talk and even performed well at box office raking in goodcollections. Another five films came in safe zone. This is the first time, Industry has seen so many hits. However even controversies are more this year with Jai Bolo Telangana, Sorry Teacher, Woman in Brahminism,Cameraman Gangato Rambabu, Denikaina Ready, Bus Stop. Many started demanding for sending some films to censor revising committee while some were demanding complete ban on them.
Some films started testing patience with the postponement. While it all started with Bodyguard which planned to come prior to Business Man, Damarukam took postponement to new heights. Similar wasthe case of Nippu, Poolarangadu,Nandeeswarudu and even Mister Nokia. Even Balakrishna's Adhinayakudu, Prabhas Rebel and now Nagarjuna's Damarukam. This is not confined to Tollywood as even Rajanikanth and Kamal Hasan's films are getting postponed in Kollywood.
