Nagarjuna-starrer Damarukam has been censored and cleared with U/A certificate and the film will release on October 20. The film was screened to the censor board officials on Friday and was reviewed with above certificate. The censor officials have also appreciated the VFX in the film and patted the director.1st half is just ok, 2nd half is good with some graphics. Damarukam, which was earlier scheduled for October 19 release, will now hit the screens on October 20.
Damarukam story is based on Telugu philosophical discourses . After Rakshasha Samharam ( Vanishing evils) stills a residue exists in form of Andhakasurudu( an evil power) and for every 1000 years there forms a stars combination together in the universe which is a wonder , At that auspicious time Andhakasurudu takes rebirth on earth and gains super powers and gains control over all the 5 elements like earth, ,sky, air, water and fire .
How the Hero who is born which grace Lord Shiva will stop the bad guy? and How the get married to the super natural girl ? who was born at auspicious time . How the hero will end the bad guy ? form the story . Ravi Shankar playing Andhakasurudu role and Prakash Raj playing the role of Lord Shiva in Human appearance.
Co-starring Anushka, Damarukam is a socio-fantasy entertainer directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by R R Movie makers. Charmee will be seen in an item number and Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music. The pre-release buzz for the film has been great and the audio was well received by the audience.
