A Tollywood producer V.Sivarama
Krishna has been arrested today (November 15, 2012) in Jubilee Hills for
possessing illegal arms.Jubilee Hills Police have conducted a search
and recovered two unlicensed Guns and 14 bullets from the producer’s
house in Jubilee Hills.
Sivaramakrishna hails from Ponnur in Guntur district and his father was recently killed by their opponents.Sivaramakrishna said that he bought the two pistols from Bihar for Rs 60,000 and Rs 70,000 each .He said that reason for having the guns is to protect himself from the opponents who killed his father recently.But, now the police were investigating on this matter and they suspects that he bought the guns to take revenge on those opponents.
Police were booked a case against the producer cum director Sivarama Krishna under Arms Act which is a non-bailable.
Siva Ramakrishna had produced and directed the film ’Na Pellam Naa Ishtam’ starring Posani Krishna Murali in the lead role, which is not yet released due to censor issues.He also worked as assistant director for several telugu films.
