Mirchi Censor Review
CBFC Rating : U/A
Run Time : 156 minutes.
PLOT :
After tasting a disaster with Rebel in his career Rebel Star Prabhas is now back with his stylish entertainer Mirchi. The movie took shape in the hands of writer turned director Koratala Shiva. Koratala Shiva who earlier penned for Bhadra, Tulasi had wield the Mega phone for this movie as the debutante director. Anushka and Richa are the female leads of this movie.
What's Special in Mirchi ?
- Mirchi is completely a revenge drama. A cool going guy who lives with his mom keeping his joint family away in the village. Finally, his bonding towards his father pulls him towards the relations and finally solves the problems behind the mysteries of his family.
- Analysing the story, the story lacks freshness. Telugu audience are familiar with these kind of stories for which the revenge of the father is taken by his son in leading the village. But the way of etching the story on screen is a brilliant job by the director.
- Ever since the starting of the movie, Koratala Shiva succeeded as writer rather than the director. In deed the writer in him dominated his direction skills. Too many dialogues ruined the plot of the movie. The essence of the movie is maintained till the end but the zeal of making it in an extra-ordinary manner by the director made the dialogues to burn out every minute on the screen.
- DSP is terrific by his music the music itself is the backbone of the movie. As audio songs were already a musical treat the visualizations on screen were a visual treat to music lovers.
- Production values are maintained at the high level This proves the dedication of the producer towards the movie. Editing is good.
- Flashback sequence that appear for a while in the movie is the main highlight for entire flick. Prabhas fights and expressions in second half is terrific. Pandagala song is at its best. It is the best picturized song in the entire flick.
Performances :
- Prabhas acting excelled at extreme levels. A new range of maturity levels were shown in his acting. He justified the role as cool going urban guy and suited for the village mass role too.
- Anushka is cute but little over-weight when compared to thin Prabhas. Due to the adding of extra-weight in some parts of body, her looks seems to be little embarrassing to the audience.
- Richa got wasted. She appeared like a girl who falls in love with Prabhas when he rescues from the guys who tries to attack her. She was just confined to 2 songs.
- Satya Raj is powerful in father role. Nadiya appeared as Prabhas mother for which Raasi dubbed for her role in the movie.
- Subbaraj, Supreeth, Brahmi,Ajay and all other artists justified their role.
Final Word :
Finally, a word to say about Mirchi, it is going to be a treat for Prabhas fans. The movie is good in all aspects and all the technical departments worked for this movie did their best. The main negative for this movie the movie seems to be the flavor of Gopi Chandh's Shankham for which Satya Raj played the same role for the movie.
Verdict :
No, doubt the movie is going to carry the positive response from all classes of the audience. The result may lie betweenhit to super hit which depends upon the receiving of the audience.
